I'm still working on the flower idea. It's not my favorite, and yet there is something about it that appeals to me. One thing I learned from running my business, usually my favorite was not the customer's favorite. Today I just couldn't quit (in my opinion, when I was ahead), but after all, this daily work is all about experimentation.
A friend and I looked at one artist's paintings, even though the art was very similar in style, the emotional value was very different. What he saw and loved in one painting made me feel completely suffocated and depressed. I always find it amazing the differences in our visual/emotional makeup.
